Tournament Tackle – Volunteer with Kith & Kids Football

Tournament Tackle offers weekly evening football sessions during term time, providing a fun and inclusive environment to share your love of football while supporting young people with learning disabilities or autism. Our mixed-ability coaching welcomes people of all ages, abilities, and genders to join in and make a real difference.

What Volunteering Involves

As a volunteer, you’ll take part in our weekly Wednesday sessions in Tottenham (7pm – 8.30pm), assisting participants with skills practice, fitness drills, and short matches. You’ll help them develop confidence, improve their abilities, and celebrate their achievements. Volunteers also have the chance to join occasional tournaments, two to three times a year, where our Kith & Kids United team competes alongside other teams including players with learning disabilities or autism.

Training and support are provided every step of the way. Volunteers can access:

  • Informal online interviews from 13th January

  • In-person training sessions from 15th February, with multiple date options

  • Bite-size online training modules to help you get started

  • A one-hour briefing with our Football Co-ordinator to explain how the team operates

We also offer travel expenses to support volunteers attending sessions.

Important Information

  • Minimum age: 18 years

  • Volunteers must be UK-based with a UK address (we cannot provide visa sponsorship)
